Il est important de rappeler que l’allocation de rentrée scolaire est avant tout destinée aux foyers les plus modestes. Cette aide de l’État est attribuée à chaque enfant, qu’il soit écolier, collégiens, lycéen, étudiant ou apprenti (rémunéré à moins de 950 €). Pour être éligible, le bénéficiaire doit obligatoirement être âgé de 6 à 18 ans. Pour la rentrée 2022, l’ARS est versée pour chaque enfant scolarisé né entre le 16 septembre 2004 et le 31 décembre 2016 inclus.
La seconde condition essentielle pour toucher cette allocation est que l’enfant soit inscrit dans un établissement ou un organisme d’enseignement public ou privé. À noter que l’ARS n’est pas attribuée quand l’enfant est instruit au sein de sa famille (école à la maison).
Pour bénéficier de l’allocation de rentrée, il convient également de ne pas dépasser un certain plafond de ressources. Pour l’année 2022, ce sont vos revenus à N-2 qui sont considérés, il vous faudra alors prendre en compte votre revenu net catégoriel de 2020.
